Why jute?
Jute is a natural plant fibre that grows quickly, mainly with rainwater, and needs relatively little fertiliser or pesticide. The plant absorbs carbon dioxide as it grows, and products made from it are biodegradable at the end of their life.
A well-made jute bag can be reused hundreds of times, replacing single-use plastic and paper bags. By adding hand-beading and craftsmanship, we turn the same sustainable fibre into accessories designed to be kept and treasured.
